Jason Cooper, born January 31, 1967, is an English drummer best known for being a member of The Cure since 1995. Growing up in Bath, his father's connection to Virgin Records led him to discover The Cure through the album 'Seventeen Seconds,' becoming a fan and eventually joining the band after seeing them live in 1990. Cooper's drumming has been a key element of The Cure's sound during his extensive membership.
