The Corrs are an Irish folk-rock band consisting of the Corr siblings: Andrea (lead vocals, tin whistle), Sharon (violin, vocals), Caroline (keyboards, vocals), and Jim (guitar, vocals).

Formed in 1990 in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, The Corrs initially gained recognition for their unique blend of traditional Irish folk music with contemporary pop and rock elements. Their breakthrough came with the release of their second album, "Talk on Corners" (1997), which became a massive international success, selling millions worldwide and topping charts in several countries. This album featured hit singles like "Dreams," "Whispers," and "Runaway."

Throughout their career, The Corrs have released several successful albums, including "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" (1995), "In Blue" (2000), and "Borrowed Heaven" (2004). Their music is characterized by strong vocal harmonies, melodic songwriting, and the distinctive sound of Sharon's violin. They have achieved significant commercial success, with album sales exceeding 40 million worldwide.

Notable collaborations include working with legendary Irish musician and producer Bono on the song "When the Stars Go Blue" and performing with the Irish Tenors. They have also collaborated with producer David Foster, who helped shape their polished sound.
