Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group, formed in 1998. The group originally consisted of Kian Egan, Markus Feehily, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, and Nicky Byrne. Westlife were formed by Louis Walsh and Ronan Keating. The group were signed originally to BMG UK & Ireland. They are one of the most successful boy bands of all time, achieving massive success in the UK and Ireland, as well as internationally. 

Throughout their career, Westlife have released numerous hit singles and albums. Their debut single "Swear It Again" was released in 1999, quickly followed by their debut album "Westlife". They are known for their powerful ballads and up-tempo pop songs. Notable hits include "Flying Without Wings", "My Love", "Uptown Girl", and "World of Our Own". The band has achieved numerous chart-toppers, holding records for the most number-one singles by a UK or Irish act. 

Westlife have sold over 55 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists. They have embarked on numerous sell-out tours around the globe. After a hiatus, the band reunited in 2018 and has continued to release new music and tour, demonstrating their enduring popularity. Their musical style is predominantly pop, with influences from rock and balladry, characterized by strong vocal harmonies and melodic hooks.
